The Product Analyst

This is a full-time role reporting directly to the VP of Product and working closely with the other SM.S functional teams as this combined group builds sustainable community economies. The Product Analyst will assist in managing a team of product partners as well as internal client, creative, and community teams to orchestrate and build community based economies. They will also be very active in the web3 ecosystem, building our network of partners from protocol to application layers.

Core Responsibilities:

• Project manage client work in collaboration with the SM.S Client Strategy, Creative, and Community teams
• Fulfill technical and ecosystem related questions from clients and internal teams as a participant in strategy workshops
• Own and maintain an internal aggregate view Web3 / Ethereum Tooling landscape, with a heavy focus on consumer-facing tools and services
• Assist in identifying gaps in IP needs with our Generalized Frameworks for the SM.S focus verticals
• Implement analysis templates to consider tradeoffs for multiple scenarios considering feasibility, sustainability, viability, and impact of client products as well as new ventures
• Produce Product Requirement Documents for new ventures
• Prepare and aid in the go to market plan for new ventures

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience in launching consumer products, including at least one substantial web3 role where you were responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from concept through go-to-market
• Experience managing product, and making the tough, high-judgment trade-offs between features and time-to-market
• Be web3 native and active in the web3 community
• Have previous experience in a fast-growth environment
• Be willing to work in a fluid environment as SM.S evolves into the organization we want it to be
• Have the ability to understand and empathize with customers and prospects
• Have first-rate communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
• Be a great problem solver that loves to help other people
• Experience in venture capital a strong plus
